Happy Star Wars Day everyone! May the Fourth be with you all. We have been really excited over the last couple of weeks to be hosting more Star Wars game events. We had a great showing to our last Destiny and X-Wing events and look forward to having more. Make sure to mark your calendars for our next upcoming events - a constructed Destiny Tournament on May 15th at 7:00pm, an Imperial Assault event on June 5th at 7:00pm, and stay tuned for more information about a Legion event!
On the Star Wars Legion front, we now have the General Veers expansion and the Desert Ruins and Desert Junkyard playmats specifically designed for Legion available in store and online. There are more expansions that will be available throughout the month so keep an eye out on our Facebook page for updates on those release dates!
We have had such an amazing show of support for Dominaria! It has been so much fun so far to do all the sealed events with you so far. As a reminder, Dominaria League started up this week and it's not too late to join! the $10 entry fee gets you 3 packs from which you build a 30 card deck. Each week of the league, you can buy an additional pack to add to your deck and after 3 loses, you can also buy a pack to add. At the end of the 4 week event, we will give out prizes. Many players show up on Tuesday evenings to play, but you can schedule a time with other players to meet and play as long as games take place at Gamer's Inn.
Our Standard Showdown events are also just a week away from starting. Those will begin on Saturday, May 12th and run till June 23rd. Each Standard Showdown event will take place on Saturdays at 2:30pm and are free to participate in.

Two games will be shown and taught on Tuesday May 8th at 7:00pm! Quarto and Quoridor!
In Quarto, each of the 16 pieces has 4 different attributes. The aim is to line up 4 pieces which share the same attribute. The problem is you can't choose which piece you're going to play your opponent chooses for you.
Quoridor is a must among strategy games. Its rules are amazingly simple: just make it through the labyrinths your opponent creates to get to the other side. This game requires strategy and quick thinking for two players and offers a load of fun for four... Both occasional and expert players from around the world recognize the fun and exceptional strategic aspects of Quoridor.

Our next Paint Night is scheduled for Thursday, May 17th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Make sure you mark your calendars and get in early to prepay for this event. There will be 20 available spots for this event and participants must be at least 12 years of age.
Sign up sheets are available now and spots will fill up fast. For May, there will be a $35 per person registration fee if you register prior to May 17th. Registration on May 17th increases to $40 per person. Register in store or online here.

Join us on Tuesday, May 15th at 7:00pm for a Star Wars Destiny Standard Constructed Event.
This will be a Standard format, which means you can use any cards and dice from the last 2 cycles of released Destiny product. As of now, that means you can use anything that has been released.
There will be a $3 cost to this event and each participant can have a $0.99 snack or $0.99 drink to enjoy during play.
