Standard Showdown for Dominaria starts up this week and we are excited to see what kind of decks you have already put together.
Standard Showdown is a great opportunity to put your Standard decks to the test. Each week, there will be chances for players to win a special Standard Show down booster that contains:
-2 rare or mythic rare from a currently legal Standard set
-1 foil basic land from Dominaria
-1 foil of any rarity from a currently legal Standard set
Standard Showdown will take place every Saturday starting tomorrow, May 12th through June 23rd at 2:30pm and is free to participate in.
Our next Star Wars Destiny event is upon us and we are very excited for it. The event will be on Tuesday, May 15th starting at 7:00pm. This will be a Standard Constructed event this time around and will be Swiss format, with paired participants playing one match per round for three rounds; each round is a maximum of 35 minutes long. There will be a $3.00 entry fee for this event, which will include a $0.99 snack or drink for each participant and prizes from the 2018 Q1 Tournament Kit. In addition, we are very excited to be featuring some alternate art cards for Han Solo and Lando Calrissian that will be given away to random players throughout the night.

It's time for another Paint Night! Join us Thursday, May 17th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Local artist Caleb Ceran will be taking participants step by step through the process of creating a beautiful image on canvas.
There will be 20 available spots for this event and participants must be at least 12 years of age. Sign up sheets are available now in store and by registering online here. There will be a $35 entry fee if you register prior to the event. Registration on the day of the event increases to $40.
We will be painting the image seen above. There is less than a week left until this great event so make sure to sign up soon!

It's time for another Ladies Night at Gamer's Inn! Join us tonight, Friday May 25th at 7:00pm for some fun casual gaming.
We have had tons of fun with these events so far and really look forward to hosting them. We always have a great group that attends and they play a variety of games ranging from Scattergories to Ticket to Ride. Plus, we have all of our Demo games that are available to play as well.

Join us for our next Game Night on Tuesday, May 22nd at 7:00pm where we will learn how to play Saboteur.
You and your fellow dwarves are digging for gold in a maze of mining tunnels. But, beware! Some of the miners are saboteurs trying to foil your efforts
and steal all your hard earned gold.
To find the mother lode, you must overcome cave-ins, broken lanterns, and busted pick-axes. In the end, the dwarf with the most gold nuggets wins.

Thursday nights at 7:30pm, Gamer's Inn hosts an amazing painting class where we teach all of the tips and tricks to successfully painting your figures.
There is a $5.00 fee for the class which will include a Bones figure from the store (cost $3.29 or less), use of paints, and instructions on how to paint your figure. If you bring your own figures, the cost is $3 per figure. The fee will covers the class until your figure is completed. |
