A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Battlebond Preview events last weekend! We had a great turnout and now we are looking forward to our Release events for it tonight and tomorrow! For our Release Event tonight, June 8th at 7:30pm, we will be doing a Two Headed Giant Draft. The Draft will be done in teams. Each team will get 4 packs to draft with and each team will simultaneously choose 2 cards from the pack before passing it on to the next player. There will be a $6 entry fee per player ($12 per team) for this event. You can sign up for this event in store or online by following this link.
Tomorrow, June 9th at 11:30am, we will be doing another Two Headed Giant Sealed event. Each team will get 6 packs to build their decks with, just like we did for our Preview Events. This event will have a $10 entry fee per player ($20 per team). You can sign up for this event in store or online by following this link.
Today, June 8th, is also the release of the highly anticipated Commander Anthology 2. For those that preordered this set, they are available for pick up. We also still have available copies for purchase for $164.99. The copies of Commander Anthology 2 are eligible for your Gamer's Club Discount.

It's time for another Paint Night! Join us Thursday, June 21st from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Local artist Caleb Ceran will be taking participants step by step through the process of creating a beautiful image on canvas.
There will be 12 available spots for this event and participants must be at least 12 years of age. Sign up sheets are available now in store and by registering online by following this link. There will be a $35 entry fee if you register prior to the event. Registration on the day of the event increases to $40.

Join us for our next Game Night on Tuesday, June 12th at 7:00pm where we will learn how to play the DC Deckbuilding Game.
In the DC Comics Deck-building Game, you take on the role of Batman, Superman, or one of their brave and heroic allies in the struggle against the forces of Super-Villainy! While you begin armed only with basic combat maneuvers, you will add new, more powerful cards to your deck as you go, with the goal of defeating as many of the DC Comics Super-Villains as you can. In the end, the player who has accumulated the most Victory Points from the cards in his or her deck wins the game!

Join us on June 19th at 7:00pm for our monthly Star Wars Destiny Tournament! This month's theme is "Pairings". Each player's team must be comprised of 2 or more characters that have screen time together. Screen time is qualified as being seen together on screen at the same time in any of the theatrical releases, which includes Episodes 1-8, Solo, Rogue One, and the Clone Wars movie. Check out the event on our website or Facebook page for more deck building rules.
We are really looking forward to seeing what you all bring. It should be a fun evening. There will be a $3 entry fee for this event. Oh, and did we mention that we will have more of the Han and Lando alt art cards? Yeah, we will. |
