It's Prerelease weekend! We have lots of great events planned and going on this weekend, so let's get talking about them!
First, there is still time to sign up for Buy-a-Box. Boxes can be preordered online or in store and then picked up as early as tomorrow, Saturday July 7th. There will still be time to preorder again before the actual release, but you do not want to miss out on your chance to get these great cards a week before release. Buy-a-Box Preorders are $110 each.
For our Prerelease events, things will kick off tonight, July 6th at 7:30pm with a Chaos Draft. There are lots of great cards with this round of booster, including and not limited to a Karn, Scion of Urza. This card has been super popular since it's release so make sure you come in for your chance to draft him! There will be a $5 entry fee for the Chaos Draft.
Then, things start heating up with our Core 2019 Prerelease Events. We have three events going on. Our first event will be a Midnight Sealed Event. Make sure to show up at 11:30pm on July 6th so we can get everyone registered and ready to play. Then on July 7th, we will have a Two Headed Giant event at 11:30am followed by a second Sealed Event at 5:00pm. Each event is $25 per person, but when you participate in more than one event, you will get a $5.00 discount! You can still sign up for any of these events online, but the discount will only be applied for multiple events in store.
These are going to be some really great events and we look forward to seeing you there!
Adventurers' League starts up again this next week. Join us on Wednesday, July 11th at 7:00pm to get things started. We will begin by doing character creation for the first week. We will have our expert Dungeon Masters there to help you learn everything you know. If time permits, we will have small skirmishes that night as well so you can get a feel for your new character. Campaigns will start the following week. As always, our Adventurers' League is free to participate in.

Join us for our next Game Night on Tuesday, July 10th at 7:00pm where we will learn how to play the Dice Forge.
In Dice Forge, you make your own luck by crafting dice and completing heroic deeds in this game for two to four players!
Dice Forge challenges you to harness your powers and challenge up to three other players in a battle for dominance. During the game, your dice provide the resources you need, but throughout the game, you’ll change your dice, snapping new faces on and improving your chances of claiming victory. When the gods call an end to your contest, the player with the most glory wins the game.

It is almost time for our Core 2019 League and Standard Showdown events to begin!
On July 17th, our Core 2019 League kicks off. This event will run for 4 weeks, during which players will make a deck starting from 3 booster packs of Core 2019. One additional pack may be added during each of the following weeks to help strengthen your deck. Players also have the option to add one pack for every three losses that are incurred. Prizes will be given out at the end of league based on win and loss percentages, playing all the people in the league and more! There is a $10 entry fee for League.
Standard Showdown will start on July 21st at 2:00pm and is free to participate in. |
Join us on Tuesday, July 17th at 7:00pm for a Star Wars Destiny Draft!
Way of the Force released earlier this month and we are excited to get our Draft on at Gamer's Inn! There will be a $20 entry fee for this event which will include the 6 packs that you need to draft with. Prizes will be pulled from the contents of the Way of the Force Release Kit and a booster pack per win you have during the night.
For this event, players will be required to bring a Rivals Draft pack. If you do not have one, there will be a limited number of the draft packs available for sale and to borrow at the event.
