| Brawl Weekend October 26, 11:30am Entry Fee: free Brawl Format is a newer format of MTG that meshes together concepts and strategies from Standard and Commander. Here's how it works:
all day long! Come! It's sure to be a blast. Throne of Eldraine Brawl League Begins Nov 5th, 7:00pm (Entry fee: $10) Those who participated in our Throne of Eldraine League can roll their decks into our Throne of Eldraine Brawl League! To start, players will receive three booster packs and a match card to track your games on. You will then build a minimum 30-card deck from your three boosters and play as many matches as you like. Each player may take one free mulligan per match (matches should be one game, but can be best 2 out of 3 if both players agree). An additional booster may be added to your pool each week and after every three losses. If you joined after the first week, you may also purchase packs from the weeks that you may have missed. At the end of League, there will be prizes distributed. |
Behold(er)! A Halloween Paint Night October 24, 7:00pm (Entry fee: $8) Gamer's Inn is proud to host a paint night featuring the elusive Beholder Minifigures! Come and paint your own Beholder and rule the Sword Coast! All materials will be provided, including the Beholder minifigure*, paints, brushes, and an artist to teach you how to paint. We have a limited number of spots for this class, so sign up now in-store or click here to sign up online! Behold(er)! A Halloween Painting Contest October 31st, 11:00am (Entry fee: free) Prove your Beholder is the best by submitting it to our Behold(er) Contest! These can be any painted Beholders, whether you painted in our event or not. Submissions should include the picture of the minifigure along with a picture of the submission date. These can be emailed it to us at innkeeper@gamersinnlehi.com or submitted to our Facebook page. We will compile all the pictures together into a single album and post it on October 31st at 11am. All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm October 30th. Categories include "Overall Winner" (the picture with the most likes), "Most Creative" and "Most Realistic", both of which will be determined by the comments on the photos. The winner of the contest will receive a Gamer's Inn Dice Tray. Runners up and winners of the "Most Creative" and "Most Realistic" will receive in-store credit for a snack of their choice. We look forward to seeing what you have painted! Bring on your Beholders! *Please note that these Beholder minifigures are for our event only. Any extras will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Gamer's Inn is not responsible for any psychic damage resulting from a Beholder minifigure purchase. |
Dungeons and Dragons: Heroes for Hire October 28th, 7:00pm (Entry Fee: $5) Faerun is hiring adventurers! The last party... well, let's just say we need more adventurers. Join us for a night of adventuring, drinking non-alcoholic drinks, snacking on perfectly legal snacks, and possibly busting a few heads in our Heroes for Hire event. In this Dungeons and Dragons event, you’re provided a character and painted mini-figure to use for the evening, as well as a snack and a drink. We are providing level five characters, so we recommend those who come to have some knowledge of D&D game mechanics. This event fills up fast so hurry and sign up now! You're free to sign up in-store or click here to sign up online! Adventurers' League Starts over on Nov 6th, 7:00pm with Character Creation Night So! You've been hearing about this D&D thing and thinking to yourself, "I've always wanted to be a back-stabbing half-elf politician looking for my human father so I can prove my legitimate birth before the next upcoming election." Well, now's your chance! Come join our upcoming season of Adventurers' League, built specially for new players. We'll start off the new season by hosting a Character Creation Night. Here, we'll teach you all about D&D mechanics and help you to design your very own character! Want to learn to DM? Come to Adventurers' League! We'll teach you all the tips and tricks on running your own campaign! We'll be more than happy to show you how to design your own campaign, write excellent NPCs, and roll great dice rolls (kidding-for great dice rolls you'll need to present a sacrifice to the dice gods.) |

| Casual Play: Villains Theme Night October 31st, 7:00pm (Entry Fee: $5) The young Jedi spat a bloody tooth out of her mouth. Her lightsaber was nowhere in sight, and she laid helplessly on the ground. "You villain! How can you wield such cruelty?" He crouched, coming to her eye level. He reached forward in the air, and her lightsaber shot to his hand from the other side of the room. He clicked the button as the saber extended, glowing blue. "Because, my dear... it's fun." Bring your best Villain affiliated deck to come play some casual games to celebrate Halloween! Participants can still receive Path to Prime tickets for attending tonight's event, plus you'll get an additional ticket for bringing (and playing) a Villain-themed deck. War for Cybertron: Siege II Releases November 8th Draft on Nov 11th at 7:00pm (Entry Fee: $18) "As the battle reaches its crescendo in War for Cybertron: Siege II, the Autobots and Decepticons turn to desperate means to secure victory. With the hard-fought battle that was Cybertron Siege I behind them, the Decepticons have devised a viscous reprisal. The Autobots will be forced to stand fast as their ancient enemy awakens their most dangerous weapon… the mighty Titan, Trypticon!" Roll out for the newest installation into the Cybertron trilogy, Siege II! Each booster pack will include one large character card, one small character card, and six battle cards. Timeline Challenge is a simple board game that involves your history, invention, and random knowledge. Have you ever wanted to prove you're the best history buff among your friends without sounding like a know-it-all? Then Timeline Challenge is the game for you. Players solve various puzzles and race to the finish line. The more puzzles they complete, the more progress they make towards the goal. The first player to cross the finish line wins! As with all of our demo games, Timeline Challenge is free for in-store play. If you don't know how to play, don't worry! Our friendly staff will be happy to teach you this and any of our other demo games. During the month of October, you'll receive an extra 5% off your purchase of this extraordinary game all month long! And if you needed further evidence, Timeline Challenge was a nominee for the 2015 Golden Geek Best Party Board Game Award! |
